Assad Bouayoun is a senior XVA Quantitative Analyst with more than 15 years’ experience in leading banks. He has designed industry standard hedging and pricing systems, first in equity derivative at Commerzbank, then in credit derivatives at Credit Agricole, in XVA at Lloyds in Model Validation at RBS in Model Development. Assad has an extensive experience in developing enterprise wide analytics to improve the financial management of derivative portfolios, in particular large scale hybrid Monte-Carlo and Exposure computation. Assad is currently building the prototype of a new XVA platform integrating cutting-edge technologies (GPU, Cloud computing) and numerical methods (AAD) to enable fast and accurate XVA and sensitivities computation. As of 1 February 2014 Gijs Boudewijn (1958) holds the position of Deputy General Manager at the Dutch Payments Association. Before that he was responsible for payments at the Dutch Banking Association. He has extensive experience in domestic as well as international payments issues, governance, competition law and fraud prevention. He started as an in-house lawyer at a large Dutch savings bank, and later became Head of Legal Affairs at the central Dutch clearing house, Bankgirocentrale, the predecessor of equensWorldline. In 1998 Mr Boudewijn joined the Dutch Banking Association as Head of Payments and Security Affairs, and in 2014 was appointed Deputy General Manager of the Dutch Payments Association. Currently Mr Boudewijn is a Board member and Chair of the Legal Support Group of the European Payments Council and Chair of the Payment Systems Committee of the European Banking Federation (also representing the EBF on the API Evaluation Group established by the European Commission and the SEPA API Access Scheme Working Group of the Euro Retail Payments Board). Over the past years he was in that capacity closely involved with matters relating to PSD2 and the various Regulatory Technical Standards. Mr Boudewijn is a regular speaker at national and international conferences on payments, open banking and related issues.

Are there any rules on the dress code?

Business attire is requested. The Summit is a formal opportunity to network with like-minded professionals and to gain knowledge from the industry’s finest risk management experts.

What is the cost and what is included in the registration fee?

We offer incentives for ‘early bird’ registrants of the Summit, as outlined on our pricing structure.

Registration includes breakfast, refreshment breaks, lunches, the cocktail reception at the end of day One, full access to the Summit sessions and exhibition area. Presentations from sessions are also available, subject to speaker approval.

Where can I find the Summit documentation and speaker presentations?

All registered attendees will receive an email with access to documentation and speaker presentations*

All available documentation will be provided after the Summit has taken place. However we will work with our presenters to make these available before the Summit where possible.

*Please note that our speakers often have to gain permission from their relevant compliance departments to release their presentations. On rare occasions compliance may not allow presentations to be distributed.

Will breakfast, lunch and refreshment be provided?

Yes. As with all of our events the Center for Financial Professionals will be providing brilliant coffee, breakfast, lunch, refreshments, and smaller bites during the networking breaks.

Will there be opportunities to network with other attendees?

There are ample opportunities for networking and interaction throughout the Summit, such as

  • Breakfast, lunch and refreshment breaks
  • Drinks reception at the end of the first day of the Summit (subject to confirmation)
