Junior Marketing Executive

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated person with great writing skills, a natural flair for creative thinking and a proven ability to get things done. It’s an ideal position for someone with a real passion for digital publishing, events and primary research and who is seeking a career in marketing.

You will be part of a growing and fresh thinking B2B Marketing Communications team and will work closely with other marketers in the publishing division including Marketing Executive and Marketing Manager.

Full training will be provided but you will be expected to take the responsibilities from day one.

The role and responsibilities:

  • Building and executing marketing campaigns through existing and new marketing channels
  • Assist in our content marketing strategy, working with industry thought leaders to deliver and publish articles, interviews, webinars, digital magazines and videos
  • Planning and executing email and social media campaigns
  • SEO for the website content
  • Data segmentation for more accurate targeting
  • Creation of marketing materials and literature including briefing graphic designer
  • Effectively communicate internally and externally with our key stakeholders
  • Post-campaign analysis and reports

The person:

  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Great verbal communication and telephone skills
  • Familiar with content marketing and inbound marketing
  • Tech savvy
  • Data management skills
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms – mainly LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and Facebook
  • Good organisational skills, an eye for detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment
  • Great analytical and reporting skills
  • Understanding of SEO
  • Degree in Marketing/Journalism would be an advantage
  • Experience in website CMS (WordPress) and emailing platform would be an advantage
